Yeah i wish i knew about the torunament, that fish would have def. won it. The big one was 39" and proabably weighed a little over 30lbs. The picture i took doesnt show how wide it was, it was around a foot wide. Are there any more tournaments coming up soon?

High muddy water is the best time huh. How about for channels?

Personally, I don't fish for channels, so I don't think I can answer that. BUT I would assume it would be just as good, if not better, because channel catfish hunt by smell. I have caught some 10 and 15lb channels out of the schuylkill while fishing for flatheads(on live sunfish).

Nice flatheads, man. Looks like you got a few mid 20lbers! If you don't mind me asking, do you throw them back? That looks like the blackrock area? I don't like it up there, to pressured for me! Here is one of my biggest. Pre spawn last year 30lbs. Here is my buddys PB. 34lbs

Hey, nice fish. The two pictures at the top are of two i caught last year. The bigger one was very close to the size of your catfish. I with i would have held it right so you could see how wide it was. It was much bigger than it looks, that was a bad picture. I caught it above black rock, and yes i do throw all of them back. Ive been looking for somewhere new to take my boat since you can only go so far upstream before it gets shallow and downstream there is the dam. If you know of any different spots that you know of where i can launch my boat and catch some catfish that you would share with me it would be very appricated. But i understand if you like to keep your spots a secret. Like i said, i do release everything i catch. My e-mail is Gheff284@hotmail.com if you want to get in touch.

Like I said, blackrock is way to pressured for me. Your lucky to see 10 guys fishing the whole summer, in the stretch that i fish. It would be nice to see a fish break the 40lb mark this year. Mid 30's seem to be the cutoff. If you ever want to do some fishing, shoot me a PM!
