Got out on the lake today for a couple of hours. Kinda windy but I managed. Got 3 nice 15-16 inchers, lost 4 good ones right at the boat, I was playing around and trying to let them tire out before I lipped them and they got away. They hit a 1/4 oz rat-l-trap in rayburn red color and a rapala DT-6 in perch. Didn't see any beds and the baitfish are already all over the place in schools. Water temp was averaging 68 all over the lake. i'm going to try again maybe monday. I'll post. If anyone else fished here lately, please post. Thanks, MikeS

hi mike thanks for the post sounds like a nice day out there . i ve never fished the reservior myself is there any decent fishing from shore out there?

AWB,
I have never fished the lake from shore, but there are nice fish in there. I have personally caught 4-5 lbers on a yearly basis. There are recent pictures of 6-7 lbers at the bait shop. There are also walleye of good size however I have never caught one. And of course there are huge crappie. Maybe sometime we could schedule a get together, I fish here alot because I live right up on 472.
