been fishing struble consistently this summer, always out in the boat. first couple trips out we hit the honey hole for small perch. caught too many to keep track of, as is everytime we find that spot. always trolling with nite crawlers on floating jig heads. catfish are always present and hooked into quite a few rather large ones, a couple that needed the net to get in the boat. seems to be best out there the hour before it gets dark and an hour after it gets dark, a lot of surface action from the panfish. not a whole lot of crappies, or bluegills even, all perch. no walleye yet, been trying hard but nothing yet. a couple bass, one that was extremely nice, (pictures in the following post) went out on sept 28 right as the remains of the hurricane was above. fished for about a half an hour before the rain started to fill the boat and it became unbearable. hoping for walleye i hooked into the biggest perch ive caught from struble yet. probably about 13 inches. thats all for now
