This ice won’t last but later in the season I’m wondering what’s the closest lake to southeast pa with a decent population? I was reading Frances slocum. It’s about 2 hours. Any other suggestions?

Susky, anywhere from RT 472 down to below the Conowingo dam.

No luck at Struble for you either.... . There are some swimming in Tuscaroa(haven't fished there in years). Never heard much on Francis Slocum... Belmont and Lake Cary were the last Pocono "hotspots" besides the Pack. I have caught a few at Mauch Chunk but that hasn't been stocked lately(same as Marsh Creek that was hot for ice eyes back in the 80's) .... Good luck with your quest ! If we get winter you might consider crossing the river and trying Marburg
