Launched around 7 am and headed north but again was frustrated at the traffic. How do people expect to catch fish when 10 boaters had just beat the crap out that same stretch of bank? I wasn't willing to get on that line so I headed towards carpenter's cove for the first time since I've heard it mentioned here a few times here. Wanted to fish the shaded side but that side was already taken by a few people. The top water bite was not happening so I go to my trusty chatterbait and pitched it in some brush and got a solid fish. Kept going along the bank and hooked into this sweet pig.
