Hit 2 spots this morning - ZERO alewife activity at either - Still threw a topwater walking bait and got nothing. Tried senko - spot A) nothing, spot B) missed a nice hit and caught a 2lber later on. Also threw a "fake" Rat-L-Trap spot A) fiesty little 10" smallie, spot B) nothing

A lot of times they are up on the surface during low light conditions(I get there around 4:30am). If you are real lucky gamefish will be busting on them. Once the sun comes up it will put them down until darkness usually.

Went over for a little this morning to try my luck with the low water(drawn down to winter pool). Sadly no action for me there were some shiners working out about 30' beyond my reach. Didn't really look like anything was busting on them, but something might have been after them lower in the water column.
