Got out for the last 45 mins of day light on Wednesday and fished the northern end near the bridge. Lake levels were the lowest I’ve ever seen them. Like several feet lower than spring pool. But, that’s not stopping the bellies-filled mamas from seeking out warmer water. I threw a finesse jig around with not even a nibble. Switched up to a chatter bait given the slight chop on the water. Two casts in and this prespawn 4lb toad choked my z-man. Not a bad start to the ‘19 bass fishing season!

Didn’t have electronics or a thermometer but my guess would be 48-50 degrees with about 6” of visibility.
