I was just doing a google searche on Struble Lake just to get some statistics and several results said the lake is 386 acres? Hard for me to believe, seems 100 to me at the most but I could be wrong. Anyone know? Struble is nice for a relaxing day on the water when the other lakes are crowded. Years ago I saw the 50 inch musky caught there when I came in at the end of the day. That was quite a while ago.

The total area is 386, but that includes the hunting area off to the right.
I've never heard of a muskie, I've been wading for perch and crappie when the air temp has been close to 40. They are really close to shore right now.

That's good to know. Maybe I can get a trip out there if the weather eases up. Too early for my kayak. About the musky I'm talking 30 plus years ago when they were still stocking. That might have been one of the last ones caught, it was written up in a local paper and I just happened to see it that day. We used to fish at night and get some walleyes at that time, but night time and most wading is out for me these days. Getting older can be tough My kayak still does the job good though.

I paddle a wilderness systems tarpon in orange. If you ever see someone on the lake like that wave and say hello.

While fishing the left shore, walking toward the dam, I came across a dead muskie that was close to 50 inches. Must have been 25 years ago
