I'm about a 35min drive away. Think we might have some fishable ice next week?

Hopewell has about 4” of ice this morning. I may hit it tomorrow if it’s safe. Scott’s run is still drawn down, and no trout have been stocked. It is also solid mud so good luck catching anything.

I wouldn't be targeting trout. Caught two perch 12in each this past fall off the dam. Would be targeting perch and crappie

Yea I made it out to the middle this morning, marked some fish in 8’ caught nothing. Couple others going out when I left, 4” close and 2-3” out deep. Was also out before the rain the other week, 3” of clear ice held me good

Any idea how deep the channel might be with the draw down? This past fall I think only time I have fished this lake

Well that didn't seem to work. Go to the DNRC page - State Parks - on the right side find park maps + click. Then go to French Creek and you will see lake maps for both Hopewell + Scotts Run - click on your choice color or B/W

Juat wondering if the ice on Scott’s Run is thick enough today. Might head put later if it is good.
