Hey everyone, Im coming home from college for most of December and early January and am looking to do some waterfowl hunting. I know most of marsh is open, as well as most of struble, and both maps are online. I have hunted octoraro before, but I believe you can't have a boat out there in winter. Can anyone confirm that? Also, is there a hunting map of the lake, I know some of it is nesting ground. Lastly, does anyone have any other suggestions where to waterfowl hunt around SEPA? Not asking for specifics just hints. Ive read the fields around octoraro aren't bad, but they stock pheasant now so I don't know about waterfowl hunting out there. Would love to hear some opinions or suggestions!

With all the flooding we've had this year the ducks are pretty spread out ... lot's of "ponds" around in low spots in fields. Knock on doors anything public is pounded.
