9/6 2018 Went there this morning got on the water by 6:30 I caught 8 LM ON 3 INCH SENKO using drop shot rig. My brother caught one on a night crawler and my friend didn't catch any. We were off the water by 10:30 lots of stuff floating and they really lowered the water level.

I went over this morning too...walked the shore at Dry Brooks... nothing. I didn't put much effort into it. Didn't see any signs of life except a few carp and 2-3" sunnies. Water was fairly clear there not much "green" to it at all.

why did they lower the lake so much is it because of the rain there expecting.

Yep .... we've had a strange August with all the flooding. They had to close the ramps 3-4 times would've been once more but they did the early release back before one of the storms.

My old favorite lake it was a nice quiet place before the 2 drainings, repairs and all the publicity that followed... not so much anymore. As far as I know it is still catch + release only(except trout). Been trying to get up there myself but have the same rain problem up there ... It's black up that way now(5pm Friday)

I went to Leaser Lake over the summer to fish for muskies. I did not catch any but they were jumping everywhere near where the stream enters the lake. Also there was a dead one along the shore.

9/15/2018 Went to Blue Marsh was really a waist of time but we just wanted to get out on the water. The water is that low it was even hard to get the boat in. My friend caught one small large mouth and I didn't catch any. There was a tournament there with kayaks from 7:00 til 3:00

I was over as well(early am) just walking the shore line(no boat anymore) Had 2 hits on the buzzbait both came undone don't think either was too big - that was it for me. Lot's of eagles flying around though .

I bet walking the shore line you can get some lures with the water being low.

I really don't find that many and what I do find usually isn't worth fixing up. I find more dropped or forgotten over the season than during drawdowns... Yesterday my line snapped on a cast so somewhere there is a buzzbait waiting to be found(didn't see or hear it hit water - looked pretty good after it got light - no luck)......... 1 - 12" Lgm on a Senko
