Has anybody seen any muskies in the spillway or the streams behind the Marsh Creek dam? I saw in threads that alot of muskies were escaping the lake and ending up in the East Branch Brandywine. Also, has anybody seen muskies in the streams near Kerr Park?

Also, has anybody seen muskies in the streams near Kerr Park? I’ve seen a few in a spot on the Brandywine, and one even came up to the bank and bit the shaky head worm I was throwing for bass

I hooked into three muskies yesterday at Shaw's Bridge Park which is right along a section of the East Branch of the Brandywine. Throwing texas rig worms with a bullet weight for bass and they were all over it. Great secluded spot to try and catch a musky if the frustrations of Marsh Creek have discouraged you beyond return.

Givin away secrets! I try to stay tight lipped about this spot! Lol, it is beautiful and has some good muskie as well as smallies, largies, and BIGGGG carp. Its hard to fish tho, the banks get very overgrown this time of year.

Just went there today and only caught 1 smallie. Many people were swimming in the stream though. I saw a big koi in there, too. No muskies

I was told that some measures were put in place a while back to minimize muskies from heading out of the lake via the spillway. Seems to be working as I have not seen one in there over the past year or so. Any in the Brandywine likely have been there for a while and probably have spread out pretty far by this point. Put on some waders and do some walking around if you want to find some.

Floated it 3 days ago and the muskie went down stream. Saw several in the stretch between after the dam at Shaw and where it gets dammed up next. Talked to the owner of the dam and he said it breached and he's not allowed to fix it until the township approves it. He also said he thinks a lot of the muskie drifted down due to the breach.
