Hit Chambers a week ago and am just getting around to this. I know its a little late but wanted to let everyone know the bite was on in a big way. Only boat out in the rain, went to marsh first but water level and rain pushed us to chambers to try to just catch some small fish. Well, needless to say we did a lot more than that. Caught 20+ between the two of us, including three at least three lbs and one of which was the biggest fish Ive ever seen at chambers, a 6.5 lb giant! She must've been on a bed by her close proximity to the bank and tail markings, but we never saw her. Just a lucky flip up to the bank with a chatterbait and WHAM! Amazing day on the water, best Ive had at chambers, and it was great to see my buddy put the new boat PB in the boat.

MB Wow! Have a day! Besides the chatter bait what were they hitting on? I was out there couple weeks ago and the water clarity was terrible. Had to use very dark or very bright or something that made a sound like spinner bait. But I did get 10 wading. Biggest was 2+ pounder.

Spinnerbait, chatterbait, and flippin baits like craws. Tried some topwater, no luck. Tried some cranks. No luck. I think they were holding extremely shallow with the below average water clarity and staying tight to structure, so flipping and throwing a chatterbait worked best for us.

MB Tx for the info. Sounds about right. Let me know when (if?) The water clears up a bit. Tx again.
