Finally made it to the water today! Fished about 5 hours targeting pan fish. Baits we're minnow's and night crawler's. Caught 4 largemouths. Averaging 14 inches. 1 FAT 10 inch yellow perch. 3 nice bluegill and FINALLY 4 nice crappie about 9 inches a piece. Beautiful day on the water although it was very windy around 3-5pm . Bite picked up when the wind subsided.action wasn't steady but definitely was worthwhile. On a side note. When did they make the boat launch on the park side a NO FISHING zone? I was there in August catching nice yellow perch and bluegill. Now red spray paint on the ground says NO FISHING.

Nice man! I always see a ton of people parked there for panfish. Do you go off to the side, or just fish the waterway right under the bridge?

I cover covered both sides of the bridge and under it. The bass were all underneath the bridge. I'm not a bass fisherman but the fight was fun!

If you read the sign at the top of the ramp it states and always has been “No Fishing From Dock”! The Rangers have just been lenient on that and many of the Park Rules!

Thanks fishinforlife, good to know. I'll give it a go the next time. How deep is the water under the bridge?

Water not very deep under the bridge I would guess 8ft max on the big water side. There is a hump under the bridge I saw it when the water was very low and clear 1day.
