Launched from the Lyndell side and bucked a stiff cross wind into Carpenters. Fished a few spots with jigs and wax worms, spikes, worms, minnows and Gulp minnows. Wind changed and blew up the cove despite being calm when we entered. Crossed the main lake and a stiff wind and went deep into Park Cove.Poked around and eventually (late afternoon) found some perch, undersized and ready to spawn, as well as a few small blue gills. Again the wind shifted and blew into the cove; it didn't lay down to about 6pm or so. Lake went flat calm just before dark, but the bite was already over. Fun to get out but no fish worth keeping. BTW, twice we saw something big chasing prey deep in the Park Cove in shallow water. My guess was it was a Musky from the length of the disturbance.
