Went to Scotts Run for some early bass + pickeral fishing before it closed today for trout stocking. Good start to the new year, I managed to get this 20.5" beauty.

DANG; that's a nice one. I have caught a TON of Pickerel out of that lake over the years but only a handful of Bass. I think the biggest Bass I ever caught out of there was only 14", so I must say that I am VERY impressed with your catch. I have caught some monsters out of Hopewell; but never Scott's Run. GREAT JOB out there on the water. She sure is nice and fat; she has been feeding very well.

Actually I caught my personal best Lg. Bass from here way back in September of 1984. It was 24.5" and 7lb 10oz on a spinnerbait.

Nice bass, definitely a beaut! Did you catch her from the shore or boat/kayak?
