I went fishing the other day and there was tons of weeds/grass in the water.....so when i netted my fish i also netted about 10lbs of stinky smelly grass. Now my net smells so bad, my wife wont let me bring it in the house. I have hosed it and scrubbed it but no luck. Any thoughts on how to get the smell out?

could try some dish soap maybe? Its a net for fish, if it stinks that means its being used which is good

i hear ya....but i like the net and would like to keep it. leaving it outside is not an option....kids would definitely steal it in my neighborhood.
thanks for the advice....try some dish soap already....it has rained a few times so maybe time to try it again.

You could try good old vinegar and baking soda. If that does not work, there is a line of products made by OdorXit you can buy online. But, why take my advice, my trout vest's fragrance is a badge of honor! (:

I have a handmade net that is absolutely beautiful and like to hang on the wall in my man cave. I use the net on trout and it gets very fishy smelling. The best thing I found was to wash it in vinegar and dry in the sun.
Good luck
