Anyone familiar with it? I'm about 15 min from a park where I can launch my kayak. I want to float it and wondering if there's any smallmouth action in there. All I know is it's about 60 miles long and dumps into the Susquehanna.

I've only fly fished it just west of Morgantown. There were a lot of small large mouth and fall fish. Closer to the Susquehanna, I have to believe there are smallmouth.

Thanks. I Checked out a park in brownstown where people launch. Shallower than I thought. Might have to give it a try though.

I never fished it but a guy on another forum hits it in the Lancaster area closer to the Susky. Gets some nice smallies but all his posts are from earlier in the spring so I'm sure some of those fish are coming out of the Susky on spawning runs. Don't know how many little dams are blocking fish movement, but there should be bass in your area either way. They also stock musky(last time in 2013) just below Brownstown too
Everything is eating better these days since the PFBC is stocking shad fry in there now too.
