Odd day today started fishing around 145p near the boulders and the damn. My 1st 5 fish were largemouth 9in and under on trout magnet. Caught 3 bluegill some in pretty deep water. Left that area and went to the flats around 315p and end of the day totals were 2 keeper perch(jigs) 8 small bass 7 small bluegill. Not 1 fish caught on walleye rig 1st time this fall that happened.

Flats are all the way left from the boat launch cuz when the water is up its a long flat bottom. It's very very rare I'm in a boat freshwater fishing. So yes from shore.

Got out yesterday for a little bit mid afternoon. There was almost no wind, and a bite to match. Missed a couple light hits down by the big rock pile. Move out to the d**e and did a little better; maybe a half doz. medium gills. They all seemed to be 6-7.5" so no keepers. Caught some on a jig under a bobber tipped with a worm, and some on a floating jig head and worm about a foot off. No boats and a only a couple other anglers out. Beautiful day though and remember; I was out doing errands!
