Another good day on Blue Marsh; besides the very hot weather and water temps in the mid 80's the Bass were still cooperating. I fished from 5:45 AM until around 10:30. I found the Bass suspended on vertical cover in about 20' of water. I certainly didn't tear up on them but I caught a solid limit (around 11-12 lbs). Many say Blue Marsh becomes real tough in the summer time once the water temps climb (and more and more pleasure boat traffic) but I found it to still produce enough for me to consider it to be a good day; especially by Blue Marsh standards.

What were you using for that type of cover? Cranks or drop shots? Also what kind of electronics are you using and what are you looking for on them?

I firmly believe that by turning off all electronics your catch rates will increase over there. My reasoning is that (years back when I had a boat) if I took my bass boat out and hit certain spots we might have caught 1 or 2 BUT if we hit those same spots in my buddies canoe(no electric) we caught more fish. I realize it depends on the mood of the fish/weather and all the rest...... BUT I"M JUST SAYING.
