On bottom, 8 lb line, 1/2 oz slip sinker, 18 trevel hook , 4 foot leader of 8 lb line, barrel swivel. Almost a tight line, very little slack. Med weight bass rod. Good luck.

I do not think the fish commission stocked Browns during this stocking. I could be wrong, but those jumping fish are actually rainbows. Getting the fly rod out this afternoon with some streamers and egg flies.

Finally, water is flowing over the dam breast. One lone guy fishing today.
Glad my fishing tip was useful. Here another.
Using a Mustad dry fly hook, #94833 , size ten. Place a meal worm on butt first, running it thru the middle of the body. The barb/tip should exit before the head, leaving enough room for one kernel of frozen yellow corn. Do feed the meal worms a piece of corn while in the home fridge. Makes them fill with a liquid that gives off a scent to attract trout. IMO.
Bottom fishing , 8 lb line, 1/2 oz slip sinker, 94833 hook , 4 foot leader of 8 lb line, barrel swivel. With this hook, the bait will almost float by itself. It works this way, or...
To float the bait off the bottom, i add styrofoam. These are cut from a coffee cup that is a fluffy type styrofoam. To cut them, i take a 243 win case. Cut in half. Then the case mouth is chamfered and deburred to a sharp cutting edge. Use a safety pin to place a hole in the center of the disk. Great for trout fishing.
