Arrived at 6:15 AM and was only the 2nd boat there. After fishing for about and hour and not a single hit I was thinking I may get skunked for the day. But then something changed, maybe the pressures changed with the front coming in. Over the next 3 hours I was able to catch 15 Bass. I didn't catch any monsters and actually only a few were a respectable size but it felt great to get out in the beautiful weather yesterday. Water temps were around 60-62 depending where you were on the lake. Also with all of the rain recently the water seemed a little more stained over the normal very clear Hopewell water. But all-in-all it was and awesome time. The bite shut off about 11 or so and the strong winds started up so it was time to come in for the day.

No clue; but there's going to be a ton of lily pads in the lake again this year (which is a good thing). Honestly; I can't say I would mind if some of the huge milfoil beds disappeared though; that stuff is a PIA, haha! I still haven't figured out how to fish those expansive weeds beds properly. But further down the lake the weeds drop off at about 7-8 feet and form a very nice edge.
