I fished Struble this past Sunday all I can say is what an interesting lake. Like others eluded to it is a very shallow lake. Spotted tons of fish and activity about 30 yards off of the dam but couldn't get a single bite.
I fished bright colored cranks due to the dirty water, fished black senkos texas style and even threw a dropshot but with the high wind that wasn't working out so well.
I think this is about the 7th time I have went out fishing without a sinlge bite. I have tried Octarora 3 times, Marsh Creek 3 times and now Struble. Anyone happen to know of any guides in the area thinking I may have to bite the bullet and pay someone I need the help?

I don't think paying anyone is worth it.
I don't know anything about Octarora, but Struble and Marsh Creek aren't that complicated .... they just get MASSIVE amounts of pressure and the fish are hard to fool.
Keep at it and try different baits at different times of the day. You'll figure it out eventually.

I'm certainly no guide, but I'd be happy to help you on Chambers, Struble or Marsh. I don't always crush it, but rarely come home skunked.

Wackr rig is my go to for targeting bass, and haven't left Strubele or Marsh yet this season without a bass. After going to each lake a couple times, youll figure out where most of the fishers collect on the lake. I suggest the Coves to the left of the launch on Marsh and the dam at Struble

Sure thing. I live in the area and unless I have a tournament or previous fishing plans, saturdays and sundays are my mornings out.
