If this lake is always reddish brown and smells like diarrhea then I haven't the faintest idea where they get off charging $4.50 to launch your boat. Worst fishing experience ever. I had to hose my boat off for an hr to rid the stench. I hope this isn't normal for the lake...

the few times I hit this lake it has been off color.. apparently it does muddy up easily. Never had the smelly part though. pitch dark colored jigs and soft baits along the many lay downs and look for stumps under your boat as you fish.

Yea, that resevoir has really been going downhill over the years. I used to fish there often but it just doesn't produce much of anything anymore. You can catch some nice sized catfish back by the day camp, need a boat and drift over the channel in the middle. Sure would love to know where all the fish went in there!

I had my best two days there this year, but I haven't been back in a couple weeks. If it's anything like it was last year at this time, it's pretty tough. The bass go into their postspawn/summer pattern and I usually struggle. The lake does muddy up VERY easily, but the fish are used to that. Many have a hard time fishing that lake, but I think they have to be more resilient. It takes a little bit of time to learn the lake.

Been out there a few times this past spring. It was muddy every time I believe. I have had more luck in creek, despite fishing the lake a couple of times.
