Is anyone going or did anyone go last year? If so how was it? I'm sure it was slammed but just wondering if its worth taking my 8 year old sister too this year. SHe loves catching but not fishing lol.

Took my 5 year old and 3 year old out last year on our boat. Had my cousin along too for extra help. It was windy and cold but we slammed them. We caught 3 tagged trout too. Each was good for a $20 cabelas gift card and a rod/reel combo which they mailed to us. The shoreline was crowded along the dam and near the boat launch but further up the lake there was elbow room. Weather permitting we'll be there again this year

Hoping to have the boat ready by then but if not we'll find a spot on the shore. I always had luck just off to the right of the boat dock and out on the middle of the dam. Sure those are the spots with the most people though. Thanks for the info.

It doesn't look like we'll be able to fish Scotts Run this weekend. I haven't been over there but every other lake I've been by is still solid ice. I looked on the PFBC website for stocking schedule. Scotts was supposed to get fish on 3/12 and they didn't post anything about a reschedule so who knows?? Anyone been over there that can verify ice/fish?

On the pfbc page, it says they rescheduled the mentored youth fishing day for May 10th.
