I recently discovered a "hammerless pistol" that used to be my grandmothers. She had it hidden in her underwear drawer. It's definitely a purse gun with the pearl handle and chrome finish. It looks like it shoots a 22 short. I now have possession of the gun, but it doesn't work. I found some schematics on-line and disassembled it, but still couldn't get it to work. It seems that the pin that holds the chamber in, is corroded to the chamber itself. Looks like the gun was made in Philadelphia in the late 1800's. This gun is by no means mint condition. The plating is coming off in some areas and the pin is scored from what may have been vise grips. Any ideas of what may free this up, or anyone that may be able to repair it? Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks and for those of us without ice gear. Think spring!

fletch, you could try the Gunsmith shown on this site, Bob Ricci.
A while ago, I contacted him regarding re-furbishing a couple of my rattier Lugers & a P-38. It definately is something he'll do.
