I'd be glad to help you out as well. Some 25 yrs. ago a guy did that for me and here I am ,still ice fishing and still can't wait for my next trip out on the hard stuff! It really is habit forming, just ask my wife.

Fished last sunday for a few hours....nothing but small gills and perch no keepers.
Hit the ice this past sunday from 8:30 - 4:00 and only had a few bites....none landed. Moved all over the place. Stopped at Gordon's the night before and Ken was nice enough to let me in a few minutes after 5 to get some bait and a few more swedish pimples. Awesome service as always.....you know a chain store wouldn't of done that. Thanks guys!!
Fished yesterday from 3:00 - 4:30 PM landed 20+ perch and kept 13 that were 10" plus. Biggest was just shy of 14". Silver swedish pimple tipped with a waxie was the ticket. Gold produced a few but not like the silver.
Can't wait to get back out!!

anyone know if MC has safe ice in the middle of the lake. Have been in park cove several times and I know that is fine. Guessing its OK but with snowcover I want to be sure.

Fished MC for about 3 hrs today. Got about 6 medium gills and one respectable bass. Kind of slow. But then again I may be a little spoiled from the good fishing Ive had recently. Tough moving around with the deep snow.

Spent about 6 hours today and fishing was very, very slow. Tip ups were more or less worthless, 1 relatively small bass and jigging yielded a few small bluegills. with all of the snow today was more work then it was worth. Will try again next weekend.

Hey Tom, glad to see you finally joined the board. Sorry to see that you guys didn't get anything else after I left. With all the tipups the six of you guys had out I would have thought you would have done a little better. I promise i will stay away next weekend as i will be in Harrisburg for the show. ;D ;D

Took a buddy to Marsh Creek today for his FIRST try at ice fishing. We were just north of the big rock outcrop off of Chalfant Rd. We are both using pimples with waxworms trying for some panfish. We are there about 1/2 hour and he hooks into something big. Played it for a few minutes on light tackle until we could get it to the hole. Not bad for his first fish! (That's me holding the catch. He took the photo.) Did not get a chance to measure or weigh it but as you can see from the picture it was a nice one. The musky was returned unharmed right after we took the picture. Rest of the day in the general area was nothing but small perch, crappies, and gills. No keepers. Deep snow is making it a lake on top of the ice. Hard to stay on top of the slush. i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k602/srettew/MattsMuskey013011.jpg

I lost 1 last year and 1 this year, one on a pimple and 1 on a jigging rapala. Not easy to get out of the hole on light line are they.
