Anybody know if there is a lever action in .25-06 caliber?

Forgot to mention that I understand the problem with pointed bullets. Don't know if a .25-06 comes in anything else.

that would be a awesome lever action!! Hornady might be able to come up with one with their leverevolution line, also the pressure might be too much for teh lever action design.

Winchester in the 20's made a lever action chambered for the 30-06, the model 1895. Browning currently make the model 81 in quite a few calibers including 270, 30-06, 7mm mag, 308, 243, 358, 300 win mag, etc. They use a box magazine to eliminate the problems with the tube feed. It probabley could be rebarreled using the 30-06 frame by a custom gunmith, as the cartidges are the same, except the bullet size. Never heard of a factory chambered gun for the caliber tho.
