Went on a snow hunt down in Southern MD on Saturday. The weather didn't cooperate with real light winds and blue bird skies but we did manage about 15. With some cloud cover and wind I think we would have bagged quite a few more. We had a flock of about 10 thousand about hundred yards directly over our heads giving us a real good look for about ten minutes. We had singles and pairs landing in front of us that we did not shoot at in the hopes that the mother load was going to come down. I think a few of the mature ones got wise and moved the group. It was quite the show and probably the most amazing this I have ever seen while hunting. Here is a picture that my friend took with his cell. It is a flock of about 10 thousand before the sun fully came up. They did end up coming in and that is where we picked up about 10.
