Anybody get a bird saturday. I was hunting a 1 acre open spot at the top of a big hollow, had 4 different birds come up out of there to the calls/decoys didnt see a beard on a single bird so needless to say i went home empty handed. Headin back out friday saturday.

Got a turkey saturday, Took me the entire season but i finally got my bird, 22lbs, 9 1/2" beard, 3/4 inch spurs, ill get some pictures up this week

nice bird. What area were you hunting? I only got out once. Heard a few gobblers and saw 3 hens. The gobblers got hung up on a fence dividing the property lines.

Centre County, about 20 miles north of state college, yeah these birds havent made noise since the 2nd week so it made it hard as hell to find them, but i spent 2 days patterning them and ambushed him coming out on a pipeline to feed, there were 2 jakes and 5 hens with him.
