For posting ice fishing reports we have started threads for the main lakes locally that allow ice fishing, if you are reporting on a lake not listed please use the other lakes thread, these threads are stickies and will remain at the top of the page. I have left the 2005 ice fishing reports up so that we can go back and compare 2005 to 2006 or if your new to ice fishing and would like to see how things went last season but they are locked and you can not reply to them. If you have any questions or comments about ice fishing please feel free to start a new thread with your question or comment. Thank you and good luck and lets hope for a great ice fishing season and lets be safe.

Thanks MB, but hopefully, there will be no ice fishing reports because the lakes won't freeze.
Hey, I can only hope!

Tom, if we don't get any ice this winter the ice fishermen are going to blame you and if they find you they might attack you with they're ice augers, then you will have a few extra holes that you really don't need. Is it spring yet. ;D

I wouldn't hold my breath on getting ice, seems like every time we get an early cold snap and the ice starts forming, everybody gets excited and then we get the dreaded warm up and it lasts just long enough to ruin the ice and we have to start all over. I hope we either get good ice lasts or it warms up and stays that way.

MB, let 'em blame me. I've been blamed for worse before. I once saw a cartoon in a newspaper that was a drawing of a man sitting on a bucket and ice fishing. Just above him were two aliens in a space ship. One alien was saying to the other, "So much for our search for intelligent life". LOL Tom

Tom, that's fine by me, I don't mind if they blame you either. I know what you mean about ice fishermen not being the smartest lot on the planet but it is fun, I use to do a lot of ice fishing back in the 80's , then got started again about 5 or 6 years ago but haven't been out the couple of years and not sure if I'll get out this year either but if you want to go sometime I'd be glad to have you along and I'll even let you drill the holes, that's the fun part. It will be spring before we know it.

Thanks for the offer MB, but I have no intention of spending an afternoon sitting on ice. LOL Even though I was born and raised in this area, I lived in the south for 11 years and I got spoiled in the warmer weather. I'm tired of the cold already and it's not even winter yet......

Glad I'm not as smart as Tom, pregnant doging and complaining about the cold weather.

What exactly does "pregnant doging" mean Rich? Is it something my family should be concerned about. Bwahahahaha...
